Barb leads BDO’s International Tax, Transfer Pricing, and Customs practices, bringing more than 25 years of experience advising multinational enterprises on complex global tax planning, transfer pricing, and value chain transformation. She is recognized for helping organizations design, implement, and defend scalable, tax‑efficient operating models aligned with evolving business strategies.

Her career spans both public accounting and industry, providing a pragmatic perspective on the technical, operational, and governance challenges facing global organizations. Barb began her career in international tax at a Big Four firm before spending 10 years in industry where she led the global transfer pricing function. 

Barb has deep technical skill across the full transfer pricing and international tax lifecycle, including intellectual property planning, valuation, migration, and implementation; design, defense, and maintenance of principal and supply chain structures; expansion into new markets; ERP‑enabled transfer pricing and finance transformation; cost‑sharing arrangements; and advance pricing agreements (APAs). She regularly advises clients on aligning tax planning with operational change, mergers and acquisitions, and post‑integration transfer pricing harmonization.

She is particularly sought after for her leadership in global controversy and risk management, helping clients proactively manage audit exposure, defend transfer pricing positions, and implement sustainable governance frameworks. Her experience across industry and advisory enables her to deliver technically robust, practical solutions that balance tax efficiency, operational feasibility, and regulatory scrutiny.
