Executive Summary

Barb leads BDO’s central and southeast transfer pricing groups and is the global practice lead for BDO’s global value chain team. She has more than 20 years of experience in the global planning arena both in international tax and transfer pricing. Barb began her career in international tax at a Big Four firm and then spent the next 10 years in industry, most recently with Ecolab, Inc., a fortune 250 multinational, overseeing its global transfer pricing group. She comes to BDO from a Big Four firm where she practiced transfer pricing and sat on the national value chain transformation group, focused on global supply chain planning and transformation projects. 

Barb’s credentials include extensive work in global planning, including working with large multinationals on aligning operational initiatives with tax optimization solutions. She has extensive experience in many areas such as; IP planning, assessment and  implementation, defense and maintenance of supply chain and principal structures, expansion into new countries and regions, ERP implementation, finance and people transformation, valuations, management fee studies and APAs. She is sought after for her understanding of global controversy, cost sharing arrangements, the harmonization of transfer pricing policies during and after M&A activity and efficient global transfer pricing policy planning and implementation.

Barb brings a unique background to her clients by having worked both in industry and public accounting as well as in multiple disciplines including international tax, transfer pricing and global value chain with advisory. With her extensive knowledge, she is a regular speaker at BDO and other international tax and transfer pricing events around the world.
