Disaster recovery, emergency preparedness, business continuity… Whatever you call it, the goals are ultimately the same: to get your organization back up and running in the event of a disruption. This course will discuss the overall IT specific concepts related to Business Continuity Planning and Disaster Recovery for nonprofit organizations. Join us to develop an overall understanding of the concepts related to, and involved in, properly planning for a business interruption.

Upon completion of this course participants will be able to:
  • Identify the main components of a Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP) and Business Continuity Plan (BCP).
  • Discuss how to conduct a Disaster Recovery assessment utilizing industry best practices.
  • Recognize common deficiencies and review typical recommendations for recovery and continuity plans.
