This course provides a recap of the key principles of the new revenue standard. It also demonstrates how the guidance in each of the five steps of the new revenue model applies to practical situations. Further, it examines additional considerations such as contract costs, warranties, and principal/agent analysis.

At the end of Parts 1 and 2 of this course, participants will be able to:
  • Describe the core principles and key steps to applying ASC 606
  • Recognize how each of the five steps applies in practice
  • Identify other areas impacted by the new standard
