GASB 87 - New Lease Accounting Requirements going into effect in 2020

The GASB is constantly making changes to GAAP accounting requirements for state and local governmental agencies, including housing authorities. One of the latest changes will require PHAs with lease expense or lease income to completely revamp their accounting procedures in this area.
