BDO USA, LLP Re-Elects Chair and Elects Three Partners to Board of Directors

CHICAGO, NOVEMBER 30, 2021 – BDO USA, LLP, one of the nation’s leading professional services firms, has announced the re-election of Kelly Johnson to a third term as chair of the firm’s board of directors. Additionally, Mike Campbell, Maria Karalis and Monika Loving have been elected as directors for three-year terms. Campbell and Loving are new board directors, while Karalis was elected to a new term of service. These changes were made effective Nov. 1, 2021.

Johnson leads BDO’s Business Services and Outsourcing practice. In her role, she works with clients to transform their business through optimizing operational infrastructure. Her inclusion in the 2021 National Association of Corporate Directors 100 marks the second consecutive year she earned a spot on this annual recognition of leading board directors who significantly contribute to boardroom practices and performance.

“Mike and Monika are welcomed additions to board leadership, each bringing valuable knowledge and experience to the table,” said Johnson. “I’m also pleased that Maria is continuing her board service, as she has made significant contributions over the last three years.”

As the tax office managing partner for BDO’s San Francisco office for more than four years, Campbell oversees BDO’s core tax and specialized tax services in the Bay area. He is also a regional private client services leader.

As a specialized tax services managing partner with leadership responsibility for the International Tax, Transfer Pricing and Global Employer Services teams, Loving guides organizations to meet their global business goals. She also serves as a member of the BDO International Corporate Tax Centre of Excellence.

Alongside Berson, Campbell, Johnson, Karalis and Loving, members of the BDO board of directors also include Tony Argiz, Mark Ellenbogen, Natalie Kotlyar, Tony Lawrence, Hoon Lee, John Marquardt and Steven Shill.
