Executive Summary

Ken is the Tax Managing Partner for the Atlanta office of BDO.  He has 30 years of public accounting experience primarily in the corporate tax area, handling U.S. federal and state tax issues and planning for multinational, multistate corporations, accounting for income taxes (ASC 740), tax implications of and tax planning for mergers and acquisitions, federal tax accounting methods, compensation issues, incentive tax credits,, state and local tax planning, including sales and use tax issues, and international tax matters.

Ken has worked with clients in the technology and life sciences, telecommunications, broadcasting, manufacturing, retail, wholesale and distribution, real estate, construction, natural resources, healthcare, transportation, business services and automotive industries.

Before joining BDO in 2011, Ken was a tax partner with a local CPA firm, and prior to that, he was a tax partner with Ernst & Young LLP in Atlanta from 1998 to 2002.  Ken started his career with Ernst & Young in 1986.
