She has led global cross-functional teams in anti-corruption audits and investigations and has managed company-wide compliance processes that increased overall regulatory and political compliance while reducing cycle time and overhead costs.

Prior to joining BDO, Julia held counsel and compliance leadership roles with several Fortune 500 corporations. She served as Assistant General Counsel, International Transactions and Compliance at Honeywell International, Inc., where she managed all aspects of global anti-corruption and political compliance programs. She also served as Associate General Counsel of International & Domestic Compliance at BAE Systems, Inc. and as Special Counsel, International for Northrop Grumman Corporation.

Julia is a regular speaker on a range of topics, including anti-corruption, ethics and compliance, international trade, and corporate political activities.
