Jeffrey Baron is a Tax Partner with over 15 years of Big Four public accounting experience. His primary focus is the delivery of corporate tax consulting, tax compliance and tax accounting services to multinational public and private corporations. Jeffrey has experience with clients ranging in size from small private companies to members of the Fortune 500. He has served clients in the technology, telecommunications, life sciences, construction and engineering, and manufacturing, retail, and distribution industries. 

Jeffrey has a deep knowledge of ASC 740 income tax accounting, corporate tax matters, mergers and acquisitions, due diligence, international tax, state and local tax, and Sarbanes–Oxley (SOX) internal controls.  Jeffrey regularly teaches courses in ASC 740 and accounting for income tax topics.  

Jeffrey is an alumnus of both PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) and KPMG. While at PwC, Jeffrey was Tax Director in the Consumer & Industry Service group, which provides corporate tax consulting, tax compliance and tax accounting services. He also managed income tax audits, including annual and quarterly income tax provisions, SOX internal controls, and financial statement disclosures under ASC 740, for large multinational public and private audit clients. Prior to working at PwC, Jeffrey was in the Federal Tax practice and Mergers & Acquisitions Tax Services group at KPMG.
