Executive Summary

Howard L. Levine, is a pioneer and thought leader in the biopharmaceutical industry with extensive strategic and operational experience in biopharmaceutical product development and commercialization. Before joining BDO, he founded BioProcess Technology Consulting, Inc. (BPTC) in 1994 and built it into the leading biologics CMC consulting company worldwide. Prior to BPTC, Howard was Vice President of Manufacturing Operations at Repligen Corporation where he was responsible for all process development and manufacturing activities and Director, Pilot Plant Operations at Xoma Corporation where he was responsible for the development and manufacture of monoclonal antibody products for clinical trial. He has also held positions of increasing responsibility in process development and manufacturing at Genentech and Amgen. Howard has assisted numerous companies in developing biological products, provided strategic input in the development of new manufacturing technologies, and participated in the successful commercialization of several of these products.
