Daniel Ventricelli is a managing director in BDO’s New York office with more than 27 years of experience providing forensic accounting, financial, and fraud investigation services, as well as advisory services in commercial litigation and bankruptcy matters. His experience includes investigations involving allegations of fraud, financial reporting irregularities, management misconduct, embezzlement, kickbacks, Ponzi schemes, and violations of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act.

Daniel has led numerous high profile engagements on behalf of counsel for audit and special committees of the board of directors, management, and creditor committees, lenders and trustees in bankruptcy. He has provided advisory and professional witness services in matters involving misdirection of funds, irregular related party transactions, asset misappropriation schemes, fraudulent conveyances and solvency determinations breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duties, and economic damages. He has served as a court-appointed examiner in several Chapter 11 cases and is an Adjunct Professor at St. John’s University School of Law in their LL.M. in Bankruptcy program.
