Executive Summary

Chuck Wolverton has over 20 years of experience consulting with broad commercial and public sector experience in the areas of strategy, transformation, operations, change management, financial management, communications, executive facilitation, and program management. Chuck currently leads BDO’s Public Sector Practice having joined to help BDO launch into the Federal Government space. Chuck has led the growth of the Public Sector Practice from two employees to now over 50 dedicated employees. 

Chuck developed the overall go-to-market strategy, led the development of new BDO solutions for the Federal government, and worked with BDO HR and Recruiting to attract and secure a workforce representing new skills and experiences for BDO. The Public Sector practice now advises key government leaders in the defense, civilian, and intelligence community sectors.

Chuck currently leads teams providing strategy and operational improvement, business process improvement, data analysis, policy and communications management, financial management, and internal controls reviews. His recent clients have included the Department of Homeland Security, Department of Justice, Customs and Border Protection, Citizenship and Immigration Services, FEMA, Secret Service, and the Federal Protective Service. 

Prior to BDO, Chuck helped two Big Four firms build out their Public Sector practices.  Chuck began his consulting career advising and providing business process reviews for Fortune 100 companies in the telecommunications industry. He has continued to provide strategy consulting services to commercial companies throughout his career to help leverage commercial best practices in the government space.
