The Private Company Financial Reporting Update webinar continues our tradition of lending a helping hand to financial management and audit committees to stay on top of today's hot topics and developments.

The presentation will be delivered by members of BDO’s National Accounting and Auditing Department and will discuss the status of private company financial reporting including an overview recently released final standards on goodwill and hedge accounting and summaries current projects including Intangibles, VIEs and hedge accounting.

Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this course participants will be able to:
  • Discuss the Private Company Council’s (PCC’s) background, purpose and current agenda
  • Interpret the definition of a Public Business Entity per ASU 2013-12
  • Implement recently released final standards applicable to private company reporting
  • Explain current PCC projects and potential agenda items
  • Evaluate applicability of standards and proposals to both private and public entities.
