All entities, including nonprofit organizations, are facing the daunting task of addressing a slew of changes as a result of numerous Accounting Standards Updates (ASU) being issued by the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB).

BDO USA, LLP invites you to our complimentary CFO roundtable event that will highlight the effects the new nonprofit financial reporting model will have on your organization. Take advantage of this unique opportunity to hear from Lee Klumpp, BDO’s National Technical Assurance Partner for Nonprofit and Education Practice who was part of the Nonprofit Financial Reporting Project. 
Event Learning Objectives:
  • Assist attendees with identifying key changes to the audit and accounting guidance that effects the Nonprofit Sector
  • Discuss the Accounting and Auditing Standards that have been issued by the Financial Accounting Standards Board and the American Institute of CPAs and a status report on current projects relevant to the nonprofit sector
  • Discuss communication and implementation challenges that may arise and how to dodge accounting gridlock and better articulate financial stories
