Cybersecurity: What should companies be doing to prepare?
Cybersecurity is rapidly evolving. Attackers are more sophisticated. Breaches are increasing in frequency. Breaches are no longer just happening to large organizations, but are affecting mid-size and small companies across all industries, for a variety of incentives beyond financial gain. Regulators are beginning to expect organizations to have established effective cyber risk management programs. Organizations need to be prepared.

Objectives:
1) Learn methods for identifying cyber risk and vulnerabilities, as well as remediation measures.
2) Gain insights into optimizing cybersecurity strategies, making sure limited resources are deployed in the right areas to mitigate risk.
3) Understand components of a cybersecurity risk management program, including an organization’s governance and operating model.

Panel: The War for Talent
This panel will explore the question of why the “war for talent” has continued for decades; how employers have been required to adapt to the gap of a ready and skilled workforce to meet their evolving needs; and how to best optimize your talent management practices to attract and retain the right top talent for your organization.

Washington Tax Legislative and Policy Update
With a short time remaining before the November elections, federal tax policy plays an important role in the electoral process.  This session will summarize and compare the tax plans of the Democratic and Republican nominees for President, as well as their chances of being enacted by Congress.  We will also address the principal aspects of recently-enacted legislation, significant regulatory and administrative developments, and prospects for further tax legislation for the rest of the year.

Keynote Presentation: U.S. Economic Update
Asha Bangalore, Economist at Northern Trust, will provide an economic outlook of the U.S. economy, including major risks on the horizon, the future course of Federal Reserve policy, and economic developments in the Eurozone, China, the United Kingdom and major emerging markets.
