Jim Carroll is a Manager in BDO’s Pittsburgh Office. He has significant experience in fraud and forensic auditing/investigations, ethics and compliance reviews, fraud risk assessments, and the development and implementation of internal fraud audit/investigation units.

Mr. Carroll previously spent 10 years in the Internal Audit Investigations team at a Fortune 200 manufacturing company, of which he managed the group for five and implemented numerous process effectiveness and efficiency measures. The matters investigated covered areas such as damage calculations and recoveries from fraudulent billing schemes, employee misconduct, and highly sensitive senior/executive level employee investigations.

Brian’s clients include a variety of middle market and Fortune 500 companies across a broad range of industries including healthcare, financial services, manufacturing & distribution, transportation, information technology (IT) services, energy and property management services.

Garry Pate is a Director in BDO’s Forensic Technology Services practice with more than 16 years of experience in digital forensics, cybersecurity, e-discovery, internal investigations, and database management. He works extensively with organizations, attorneys, law enforcement, and federal, state, and local governments.
 
Garry works closely in complex digital forensics and e-discovery – from collection through production – for matters that involve a range of issues, including intellectual property theft, business technology, copyrights, patents, and trademarks, as well as employment, environmental, and numerous other disputes.
