BDO Digital recently completed an expansive renovation of its Oak Brook office, modernizing their headquarters and adding an additional 10,000 square feet to accommodate a growing team. The Midwest, mid-market focused IT consulting firm has nearly doubled their total count of employees over the past five years. The company saw this large expansion as an opportunity to not only add more workstations and community space, but to also provide employees with new amenities to foster collaboration and wellness.
The newly renovated modern expansion offers a wide array of meeting areas from enclosed glass rooms with large flat-screen TVs, community seating areas for collaborating with colleagues, and an expansive town hall area to hold larger team gatherings. The space provides plenty of opportunities to collaborate, socialize, and even let some steam off with a quick game of foosball. Glass windows around the perimeter offer views of nearby parks and water features, while floor-to-ceiling glass walls throughout the facility allow natural light to pour in through from every side.
Additional features include a new fully stocked kitchen, 90-inch TVs integrated with cutting-edge screen sharing and communications systems, community seating for up to sixty, and a wellness room for nursing mothers or any employee who needs privacy.
This new space is the tangible manifestation of the expansion BDO Digital has experienced in recent years and represents the company’s long-term goals to continue to meet the ever-changing needs of local mid-size organizations who are looking to leverage technology to help them innovate and succeed.
