You’re Invited: Webinar on Uniform Guidance and What We Have Learned

On December 19, 2014, 28 Federal agencies adopted 2 CFR 200 Uniform Guidance in their own set of regulations, making the Uniform Guidance requirements effective for all Federal awards granted on or after December 26, 2014. This guidance consolidates decades of OMB circulars, guidance, and the “common rule” on grants management. All of the OMB Grant Circulars have been replaced, which altered the landscape regarding how grants are awarded, administered, and audited for all types of grantees and for-profit entities. Affected organizations include nonprofit organizations, state and local governments, tribal governments, as well as colleges and universities.

The Uniform Guidance compliance requirements have been effective and applicable for one year, and the audit requirements were effective for our December 31, 2015 year ends. It is important to be aware of your organization’s compliance as you navigate these changes.
