Please join BDO USA, LLP for a complimentary CPE-qualified seminar - "Operating Reserves - Building Capacity for the Next Economic Downturn."

Nonprofit organizations have been through one of the most difficult economic times since the Great Depression and they know they must be prepared for the next economic downturn.  As the economy improves and revenues increase, nonprofit leaders will direct their focus on building--or rebuilding their organizations. This seminar will focus on the need to maintain and/or build adequate operating reserves as  part of that process, which is essential to the health of every nonprofit.

By the end of this session, attendees will have learned:
-What an operating reserve is and why it is necessary.
-How to implement a policy that is right for their nonprofit using the Nonprofit Operating Reserve Initiative’s helpful toolkit.
-The steps an organization must take when developing an operating reserve.
-How to leverage best practices of monitoring the operating reserve and providing oversight.
