Presented as part of BDO USA, LLP's Ac'senseSM series, the Ac’sense 2009 IFRS vs. IFRS for SMEs webinar continues our tradition of lending a helping hand to financial management and audit committees to stay on top of today's hot topics and developments.
This event is intended for our valued clients and contacts, including audit committees, board members, management, finance and compliance professionals of both public companies and private companies.
The presentation will be delivered by a panel of subject matter experts from BDO USA in order to provide a lively discussion and respond to questions posed by participants. The program is intended to provide participants with an understanding of the new International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) for small to medium-sized companies, otherwise known as "IFRS for SME’s," issued by the IASB. After completing this program participants will be able to:
- Understand the general concepts of IFRS for SME’s
- Understand its application status around the globe, including key territories considering adoption
- Strategically plan at group level for the significant changes that lie ahead for foreign subsidiaries of US companies
